Every time i go see a movie at Waterford i get kicked out for simple reasons like i walked into the wrong movie or came in a little late because the showtimes are wrong. The employees are rude and have a nasty attitude, maybe thats just because i'm a bit younger than they are. I went to see The darkest hour for my birthday this year and before i left my house i checked the showtimes come to find when i was paying for the movie that it started forty five minutes later and it would be in 3D. The theatre itself is dirty with popcorn all over the place and uncomfortable seats. My honest opinion is that the theatre in Fashion square is better, it is also cheaper and the employees are much more polite.

Waterford is overpriced and underdeveloped. As already posted before, they do not have great quality (sound isn't too terrible, but the picture quality, compared to even the cheap theaters, is terrible). My wife and I go there only when we get free tickets. I would recommend you do the same. Save some money. It's worth the drive to Fashion Square Mall. . . trust me. I've been in O-town ALL my life, and I remember when waterford was built. It USED to be nice, AND decently priced. . . but no more. . . .

I have a better picture experience on my Mitsubishi 65" HD, 3-D widescreen than this theater has. They need to upgrade to the digital HD format so badly. You would think they would since they are charging such outragous prices. By the way, they have been open for @15 years now.
Save a ton of money, have a much better viewing experience, with no kid kicking your seatback, or people chatting around you, buy a HD widescreen.
Let these theaters go the way of the drive thru if they will no upgrade into HD format for ALL their movies.

Wow keep it at 45 look under me ? wow that was a story. For 1 this place hasn't been open for 25 years. Lol or hasn't even been built.
I ? going here yeah the price is a little high, but what do you expect when you want to see a movie in a nice clean place. I will always come here as long as they stay and I'm living in the area. I'm heading to the movies now to go see a movie there. And sometime if you like to give blood on weekends they will give you a free movie ticket to see a movie for donating blood. So you get to help someone and see a movie for free. Have fun at Waterford lakes movies.

Having lived, within a 5 mile drive to this theater, for over 25 years, I am happy to be able to go to a clean and safe environment that is close to where I live to watch movies. I have been going to this theater ever since it opened and although I agree with some that say that prices are sky-high at this place, what isn't over priced these days? With gasoline prices rising daily and now above $3.00 a gallon, to drive 15 to 20 miles or further to a less expensive theater doesn't make economical sense......not to mention having to contend with the never ending traffic nightmare on Colonial Drive. And, the neighborhoods that some of those "low fare" theaters are in; I'd be too worried about whether my vehicle would still be where I parked it to enjoy the movie!! Sure, $4.50 for a small drink is absurd, but I have a long drink at the water fountain before I go sit down in the theater for the show and bypass the "volunteered for robbery" at the concession stand. As for going to see a movie in the "IMAX" part of the theater, no thank you. I like to sit still and enjoy the movie......not to sit there and crane my head and neck around trying to see everything. The theater is always ( at least when I've been there ) clean and the people ( for the most part ) are friendly. In the summertime, it is nice and cool in the theater and in the winter it is warmer than the outside air. I generally take a light coat or sweater in both seasons, just to be sure I'm comfortable. I typically have gum or individually wrapped mints in my pocket should I need something to sustain me until the movie is over, and there are a variety of reasonably priced eateries within a short walking distance from the theater, should I develop an appetite during the movie. All in all, in my opinion, the Regal Waterford Lakes theater is a blessing to the east side of Orlando. Let's keep it that way......... all you folks that live 10 to 15 or more miles from there........ go find your own place to enjoy movies!! :)

Very clean place. Concession cost are enormous. If you can wait for the movies of your choice to reach DVD I reccomend it. Too costly in these times. Other wise the movie theater experience is great!!

Although the movie we saw was wonderful we were 30 minutes early so i spend that time complaining to my husband about the cost of tickets and soda. An Imax movie was $17 per ticket for adults and $5.75 for a large soda. I will shop around and try to find cheaper than that or only see regular movies, now I know why the gentleman posted before me said it was enough to pay for a cruise, however we only go once or twice a year which is why my husband said don't worry about it just enjoy it but at those prices we can't afford to go often.

    Clean place in our experience.
It is not as good a value as 50 promenade or the picture show in altamonte. But if you absolutely cannot wait for a movie to "be released" to the smart theatres (dollar theatres) then go to this one. My wife and I try to make it to the dollar theatres. You can end up saving thousands per year, enough to pay for a cruise, just by getting in synch with the smart theatres. That being said, this one is clean, good stadium seating, non-sticky floors, and a kiosk where you can buy your ticket (inside on the right).
